Privacy policy.

Dimmo helps you focus by dimming the space around your active window. It processes the information it needs to do this locally on your Mac.

Information Dimmo uses

While Focus is on, Dimmo checks visible window metadata, including window position and size, to place the dimming overlay. This happens on your Mac. Dimmo does not capture screen images or record what you type.

Dimmo stores your preferences, such as appearance and dimming options, locally on your Mac.

Collection and sharing

Dimmo does not collect or transmit personal information, use analytics or advertising trackers, or share information with third parties.

Your control

You can turn Focus off at any time. Quitting Dimmo removes its overlays. Preferences remain locally on your Mac until you change or remove them.
